Got e-Mail using Thai font. But when forward the message, Thunderbird change font encoder to Unicode (UTF-8)
Cause: Thunderbird detect that the message encoded with ''Thai (Windows-874)"
To avoid this, at the e-Mail message, select "View -> Character Encoding -> Thai (TIS-620)".
And then, you can forward the message without encoding problem.
I owe you a beer. This saved me a few hours of my life...
ReplyDelete...or let's change it to champagne :-)
ReplyDeleteWow... Suppose that you are the first person who got benefit from my blog. Happy! ;D
ReplyDeleteIt's not solution, It's workaround. I have message displayed in utf8 correctly, but that stupid piece of software chages it to latin2 when forwarding (reply is OK) until I explicitely tell it really IS utf8.. Every time before I forward message.. kinda sucks.
ReplyDeleteRight, it just helps for the end user. Unless we help Thunderbird to fix this problem straight.
