OpenOffice Writer: Change date format from autocorrect

When enter date, Writer has autocorrect function to change the default. If you want to change the format, highlight the date value that want to change. Right click and select "Number Format..." from context menu.



Select format that you want and click "OK".

    Do you know how to turn this feature off? I want to make formatting decisions like this myself. (If I use 'April 2008' i want it to stay that way, not be converted into '01/04/08'

People use some other name to represent themselves in LINE. To search them, you might not be able to remember what name they are using. You can just change the displayed name to what you call them. Follow these steps to change it. Environment : Application: LINE version 3.1.7 O/S: Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4 Device: Samsung Galaxy S III Press at the friend that you wan to change the name. Google Sheet: How to perform spelling check in other language

Google defaults spelling check in English for you. What if you are writing in other language and want Google to perform spelling check for you. Here are the steps: In your Google Sheet, click at main menu "File" and then select "Spreadsheet settings...". Click at the drop-down list under "Locale". Select the language you want Google to check spelling and click "Save settings" button. In this case, I want to select check with Mexican Spanish dictionary. Now, click at main menu "Tools" and then, "Spelling...". Google will check the entire sheet and suggest you to change the word. Click "Change" button if you want to change. It seems like Google will recognize English anyway. Unless, you type in any other language, it will suggest you to change to Spanish word.
