Environment : - Oracle 10g - Windows Server x64 By the default, when create database, can specify SGA and PGA not more than 2 GB (I tried at 3 GB and it's OK). To increase more, need to modify in Server Parameter File (spfile) which locate in folder '%ORACLE_HOME%\admin\ \pfile\init.ora.*'. Modify these parameters: - sga_target - pga_aggregate_target

Environment : Oracle 10g - Connect SQL*Plus as database administrator (DBA). - In SQL*Plus, use command "SELECT * FROM V$INSTANCE". - See in the column "STATUS" whether it's "OPEN" or not.

Twhirl has function to change username as other applications. The problem comes when you enter wrong user for the first time after you install the application. Twhirl will open the pop up window to let you enter only password. There is no way to change the user according to it disable all other button. When you press "Cancel", it just close/hide the application. Even you uninstall Twhirl, Adobe Air, try to find in Windows Registry, reinstall the application again, it will not help for this case. After accidentally click, I found the mysterious point to solve this. After this, you can change the username as you wish.
